The young adults here at NorthPointe are rallying to pray for our church, community, city, and country. Each Saturday in April we are asking YOU to commit to pray for a 1 hour shift. Together we want to spend all 24-hours of Saturday praying for the many needs of those around us.
Check in with God. Where are you at with the disruption? Receive truth from Him about your circumstance. Ask God for a heart of compassion and care for those impacted near and far.
Ask God to support and comfort those in your community affected by the coronavirus – either directly or indirectly. Ask God to show you how you can be there to support specific people in your life.
Ask God to provide wisdom and stamina to medical workers in your community who are preparing for the next couple of weeks, risking contracting the virus. Ask Him to be glorified by the body of believers in Fresno and Clovis.
Pray God would do a work in the hearts of Americans, who have trusted in the reliability & stability they’re used to receiving as American citizens, but have been questioned. Pray instead people’s hearts would turn to the true Savior and rock, orienting toward eternity. Pray the Lord would provide wisdom, strength, and miraculous protection to care-providers in the nation’s hardest-hit COVID-19 hot-spots, like New York, Michigan, Washington state, and California.
Pray God would unite His church and be brought to ultimate glory around the world. Pray for developing nation’s not equipped with medical expertise or supplies, that they would receive His hand of protection and spiritual strength beyond our understanding.
