Event 56

Date & Time

At Event 56, kids will have tons of fun playing crazy games, participating in team competitions, watching funny skits, eating good food, and most importantly, learning about Jesus’ love for them. We’ll have meaningful worship services, small group sessions, time for kids to connect with each other, and an opportunity for kids to grow in their faith. The cost of this event is $30 per child.

Event 56 is a winter event for 5th and 6th graders. Kids arrive on Friday, January 25 at 4:30pm and will stay the night here at NorthPointe. The event will end on Saturday, January 26 at 9pm.

Why does it cost $30?
This helps cover the cost of 4 tasty meals, some fun snacks, and a few other important supplies.

What if my child needs assistance with their medications?
We’ll have a Nurse available to help administer medications.

What if it rains that weekend?
Most of our activities will be indoors. We will have a few outdoor games, but, the rain won’t stop us from having a great time (it’ll probably make it even more fun)!

What should my child bring with them?
Make sure to bring your bible, flash light, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, pillow, warm clothes, rain apparel (extra shoes/clothes that can get wet if it rains during outdoor games, maybe a towel too), tooth brush/tooth paste, and modest pajamas.

Where will they sleep?
Boys and Girls will sleep in separate rooms in the 1st-6th grade building.

Who will be staying with them?
Pastor Travis and several of the NP Kids Staff members will be there to run the event along with some great student and adult volunteers (all adults have been screened, fingerprinted, background checked, and have gone through a thorough orientation process).

Can the kids invite their friends?
YES! It’ll be a great weekend to invite friends! The online registration form will need to be completed by the parent/guardian so they can provide all the emergency and medical information requested.

Are you also doing winter camp up in the mountains this year?
No. We feel like the low cost and close location will allow more kids to participate in a fun winter activity. Event 56 has been designed to incorporate all the great things kids get at a weekend camp. So don’t worry, we’ll make sure they have a blast!
