John’s Gospel points us to the unique claim of Christianity that God entered human history in the Person of Jesus of Nazareth. More than any other Gospel, John’s story of Jesus reminds us that Jesus was able to die for us, not only because He was without sin, but because He is God. God took the sins of the world upon Himself in Jesus Christ and defeated the power of sin, evil, and death.

John’s claims about Jesus are cosmic in scope. Because of Jesus, human history has shifted. Salvation has come, and all who trust in His name receive the gift of eternal life. So in this study, we want to learn who Jesus is, what He has done, and how we can follow Him faithfully by receiving the abundant life that He came to give.
