Join us for our first annual Limitless Conference weekend!

Our conference weekend is open to parents, caregivers, ministry leaders, teachers, and anyone who wants to be equipped and encouraged. God wants our lives to overflow with mercy, love and compassion. As followers of Jesus, we have a choice: respond with fear or follow Him in responding to the greatest needs of our day with love and hope. We hope that people all across our valley will attend.

On Friday the 14th we will hold another Sensory Friendly Worship Night. This evening is open to anyone who would like to worship in a no-judging/no-shushing environment where the volume is lower, the lights are not flashy, there’s room to move and flexible seating, and sensory items like headphones available. Doors will open at 6:30 so you can visit the young entrepreneurs and purchase some items and worship will begin at 7pm. Pastor Kevin will be giving a short message that night as well.

On Saturday the 15th is our all day conference which begins at 8am and runs until 3pm. Our keynote speakers are Rick and Lori Klatt and Payton Miller. Rick and his wife Lori are part of the USA Down Syndrome Swim Team. Coach Rick is the current Technical Advisor and Lori is the Assistant Team Manager. Together they helped the USA team win 4th place at the world championships in Portugal last fall! Some of you may also know Coach Rick from Central High School and Fresno Dolphins. We are so excited to hear from them both on the importance of inclusion! Payton is an adjunct professor at Fresno Pacific University where she teaches a course on disability ministry and theology. She also co-leads a Bible study for adults with disabilities in Fresno and has been a dedicated volunteer with Joni and Friends California for several years. We are happy to have her join us and look forward to hearing from her on what the Bible has to say about caring for the people Jesus spent so much time caring for.

We will then have a variety of breakout sessions you can choose to attend. You will be able to choose up to three topics to attend. Topics include:

• Managing Difficult Behaviors
• Starting and Growing a Disability Ministry
• Autism
• ADHD
• ASL in the Church
• Life Beyond High School
• AACs and Non-Verbal Communication
• IEP 101
• Foster/Adoption Trauma.

Cost to attend the conference is $25 with a light breakfast and lunch included. During lunch you will be able to visit the fifteen or so vendors, try out the hands-on Joni and Friends disability stations, or spend some time networking and fellowshipping with others.
