When you carry God’s message to others, you can have more strength if you believe that you are merely God’s servant working for Jesus’ sake. Parents, today your elementary children learned how forgiving others is an act of mercy, which we have defined as love in action. Ask your children who was forgiven in our Bible story today. What had he done that needed to be forgiven? We want kids to understand that God makes it clear in his Word that we must forgive others just as he forgave us. Our bottom Line is: I can show mercy to others by forgiving them.
