Cultivate is a mentoring program designed just for women. Mentoring is an intentional relationship between an older person and a younger person. It’s walking through life together for a season–sharing wisdom and life experiences, as well as growing in your relationship with Christ.

FAQ’s
WHAT IS CULTIVATE?
Cultivate is a nine-month (January– September) mentoring journey for the women of NorthPointe Church. Cultivate will connect older women with younger women in a mentoring relationship to encourage and challenge one another in their walk with Jesus.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
Cultivate is open to mentors ages 30+ and mentees out of college or 23+.
WHAT ARE THE MONTHLY AND WEEKLY REQUIREMENTS?
Mentors/mentees will decide on when and how often they will meet. We do ask that you fully commit to these meeting times. Mentees: In order for the soil for the relationship with your mentor to grow and be guided, we ask that you have devotional time in the word 5 days a week.
DO I HAVE TO BE MATURE IN MY WALK WITH CHRIST TO PARTICIPATE IN CULTIVATE?
Absolutely not! But you need to be willing to commit for nine months! That’s what Cultivate is for, to help you grow in your walk with Christ. Your mentor is going to help guide you on this journey and point you to Jesus. Will your mentor have all the answers? No, but she is going to walk with you and open scripture with you to help you gain a better understanding of who Jesus is. So, in other words, you need just the right amount of maturity to stick to your commitment and press on to see what God has in store for you without cutting this opportunity short or slacking!
DO I GET TO PICK MY MENTOR?
No, but know that we are very intentional with the matching process. We read every application with great intention and much prayer. We consider many factors to provide each mentee with the best mentor possible.
DO I NEED TO CALL NORTHPOINTE CHURCH MY HOME IN ORDER TO BE A PART OF CULTIVATE?
Yes, we believe that you should call NorthPointe Church your church home in order to be a part of Cultivate.
