From the street to the seat, our Guest Services ministry teams offer genuine care and comfort to our church family and guests by providing a warm, welcoming environment for people to experience the love of Christ. Teams include Greeters, Ushers, Brew Crew, Connection Pointe, and Worship Center Reset.
The Greeter Team is made up of volunteers who are known for their friendliness and outgoing nature. They welcome guests by serving inside the lobby handing out bulletins and outside around the church campus. As a Greeter, you would serve every other Sunday for just 45 minutes on your scheduled Sunday (that’s just 1.5 hours per month!)
The Usher Team is made up of church members who love to help people feel relaxed and comfortable at NorthPointe. Ushers welcome guests into their assigned section of the Worship Center, provide help with seating, and receive the offering and connection cards. As an Usher, you would serve twice per month before and during the service that you attend.
Connection Pointe Team
The Connection Pointe Team is made up of church members who love to help connect people, answer questions, and care for people. You are the “front desk” of the Worship Center and serve twice per month in the Lobby before, during, and after worship services.
The Brew Crew is made up of volunteers who love to serve behind the scenes. The Brew Crew volunteers serve just one Sunday per month from 8:30am – 1pm. Two teams are assigned to serve together so that you can also attend one service while the other stays with the station. Your role would be to tidy up the coffee area, restock supplies, and prepare coffee for guests.
Reset Team & Stack Pack
The Reset Team and Stack Pack is a team of volunteers who are task oriented and like to serve behind the scenes. Volunteers reset the bibles and pens, and tidy up after service to prepare for the next guests. If you attend the 11:15am service, we’d love to have you help stack the back half of the worship center chairs to prepare for our evening service.
Giving Kiosk Team
The Giving Kiosk Hosts offer help at Giving Pointe in the lobby. Volunteers assist guests as needed and answer questions about the many ways to give or sign up for events through the iPads or online. Kiosk Hosts serve 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after service.
Prayer Teams are made up of volunteers who have love to pray for and encourage others. They offer prayer via email or phone calls during the week, or face-to-face in the Lounge after services. You can serve on these teams as often as fits your schedule.
The Security Team is made up of volunteers who care about public safety and are able to deal with difficult situations. They keep an eye on parking lots, buildings, and the safety of our guests. You can serve as often as your schedule permits.
The Parking/Shuttle Team greets guests and helps them find their way around the NorthPointe campus while offering a ride to the Worship Center and/or NPKids. You serve just 15 minutes before each service and as often as you like.
